It's time for the first of two Test matches between Pakistan and the West Indies, which will begin today.
The ICC World Test Championship is Pakistan's and the West Indies' debut series in the tournament. There are three home and three away games for each team. After the T20 World Cup, Pakistan will play Bangladesh and Sri Lanka on the road, while at home, they will face Australia, New Zealand and England (all in 2022).
It's a fight to the finish
There have been 17 Test matches between the two sides, with Pakistan holding a 6-5 advantage. There is a decisive 4-1 lead for the West Indies in the eight series played against Pakistan.
Pakistan's first-ever Test series win in the Caribbean broke Pakistan's winless streak in the Caribbean in 2016-17, when Pakistan won 2-1.
In this series, Pakistan won the first Test in Jamaica by seven wickets before Barbados won the second Test by 106 runs to tie the series. When Yasir Shah bowled Shannon Gabriel on the final ball of the penultimate over of the series with Roston Chase stranded at the non-end, striker's Pakistan won by 101 runs.
Pakistan has Yasir Shah, who was named series MVP, while West Indies will miss Gabriel.
Misbahul Haq scored 271 runs for Pakistan in the series. To attain the unique distinction of victory in West Indies as both captain and coach, he will work hard.
